My husband and I have lived in Minden, a little slice of heaven, since September, 1994, relocating from Santa Clara, California to get away from the hustle and bustle, air pollution and all that goes with a highly populated area, and have never looked back! The beauty of this area speaks for itself, especially when there is a blanket of snow on the mountain range, but we are "high and dry!"
After moving from the East Coast in 1985, where I had a career in banking and was responsible for customer service, planning, budgeting, contracts, and about 75 employees, I became interested in Real Estate Sales. I obtained my real estate license in California in 1986, and have been a Nevada Realtor since 1995.
Experiencing a major move more than a couple of times myself has given me a sense of empathy for anyone considering the same. Also, I believe that enjoying your profession, continuing real estate education, and staying on top of real estate issues are important steps to preparing one for the process of negotiating a home purchase or sale that turns out to be a win-win situation for both Buyers and Sellers, and is called "success."
