When the map for phase one of the Pleasantview Subdivision was filed in 1990, the neighborhood was destined to have a certain look and feel that many people would find appealing: wide, curving streets, unique, custom-built homes, and professional landscaping.
Now, in its ninth phase, Pleasantview will build out to 190 homes nestled on view lots that once were a part of the Dressler Ranch. The majority of the residents are retired or have professional occupations. Everyone bands together to make the area special.
Home prices range from the high $400,000's for the currently built homes to the mid $600,000's for beautiful custom-built homes by Greg Lynn Construction. Pride of ownership is evident. A very small percentage of the homes are for sale. Most residents just love where they have chosen to live and do not want to move. Interestingly, some homeowners have chosen to move up to a new or larger home and have sold their current home and again have chosen to stay in the Pleasantview area. That says a lot for how much we love this area.
This is my neighborhood ! It lives up to it's name. PLEASANTVIEW
