Downtown Minden and Gardnerville Several quality subdivisions exist within in the two towns of Minden and Gardnerville. These two communities are joined together and it cannot be easily determined where one stops and the other begins. New homes are still being constructed in Chichester and Stodick Park as well as the Minden Townhomes, but most other subdivisions have been built up and have only existing homes for sale.

Johnson Lane Located midway between Minden and Carson City, Johnson Lane is an area within which lie several subdivisions as well as individual homes either on one or more acres of land. It's on the east side of Highway 395 and rural in nature. The newer subdivisions are very popular with custom homes usually on one-third to one acre parcels and BLM land is just to the East of this area with plenty of room to roam for those that like to take to the hills with ATV's or horses.
